Dontay Black
Athletic Director
My name is Dontay Black and this is my first year as Athletic Director for PCA! It is also my 3rd year as the Girl’s Head Basketball Coach here. I am married and have 3 children ages 17, 8, and 7. Originally I am from Watertown NY where I played Soccer and was an All-State Goalie and Frontier League All-Star; and Basketball where I ranked in the Top 14 in my area and 2-time Frontier League All-Star. After high school, I continued to play College Basketball at Canton Tech for a year then at Cazenovia College.
Since moving to Delaware in 2001, I have held multiple coaching positions. I coached at Kingswood Academy, Cape Henlopen High School, Smyrna High School, and St. Thomas Moore Academy. I am proud to say that at each of these schools the teams that I coached showed tremendous growth and won various titles. I also started an AAU program, THE FUTURE STARS, where we won a National Title. I am a huge Duke University fan! I enjoy music and traveling, but my passion is sports. My goal is to help kids grow in whatever sport they choose to play. I am looking forward to this school year and am happy to be a part of the PCA family.
