Currently Enrolled Delaware Public School Students
Any student currently enrolled in a Delaware Public School can submit an application through School Choice DE below.
Incoming Kindergarteners or Current Out-of-State/Private School Students
Any student entering Kindergarten, coming from out-of-state, or from a private school MUST register with your Resident School District before submitting a school choice application. To find out your Resident School District, please see the link below.
Any application received without this step is considered incomplete and cannot be accepted.
Application Process
Schedule a Tour
PCA is open on student days from 8:00 - 4:00 with tours available from 9:00 - 2:00 each day.

Who Can Apply?
PCA is open and tuition free for any student K-8 that is a Delaware resident.
When Can I Apply?
Applications for the 2025-2026 school year for grades K-8 will be available starting November 4th. Applications received during the School Choice window will be entered into a lottery for all grades.
Applications received after the School Choice window ends will not be included in our lottery but will be put at the end of our wait list in the order received.
Timeline
November 4: Online School Choice Applications Open at 8:00 a.m.
January 8: Online School Choice Application Close at 11:59 p.m.
February 28: Final Day for PCA to Notify Families of Invitation Status (ex. Accepted or Waitlisted)
March 21: Final Day for Families to Notify PCA of Acceptance Decision
March Through September: PCA will notify waitlisted students with invitations to accept should spots become available.
Any applications received after the open enrollment period will not be included in the lottery but weill be put at the end of our wait list in the order received.
Required Documentation
Upon acceptance, PCA requires the following information as applicable:
1. Proof of student's age
2. Proof of completed lead teach for all applications five or younger
3. Updated Immunizations
4. Parent/Guardian Photo ID
6. Custody Documentation
7. I.E.P. or 504 Plans
