I am Patricia Scheers, Director of our Special Education Department. When I started my career working with children, I started working as a recess paraprofessional. I have since worked in classrooms from Kindergarten through 8th grade as a paraprofessional and then a special education teacher. During this time, working in schools, I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education/Special Education. I have since received my Master’s Degree in Special Education Instruction. My main focus in this position is to be able to help families, answer questions, and help create plans to show students how to succeed.
