February is Black History Month. Each day we will showcase a famous African American in history

Today we celebrate Wilma Rudolph

Wilma Rudolph was an Olympic gold medalist and a trailblazer for women’s sports. She played basketball and was a natural at track and field events. Her nickname was “the fastest woman alive.” She overcame childhood polio, double pneumonia, and other obstacles. She was forced to wear a leg brace, and doctors even told her she would never walk again. But Rudolph overcame her disabilities and became the first American woman to win three gold medals in a single Olympic Games in 1960!

Lost and Found trees are located in all 3 buildings. Tables will be cleared off the last Friday of every month.

ELECTRONICS: If you bring electronics to PCA they must be locked in a locker from 7:45 am-3:30 pm. PCA is not responsible for lost or stolen electronics
